N his thirst for runs hasn't reduced.He's been tormenting every single bowler he's faced n belting them round d ground.He has centuries against every test playing nation.He is the highest run getter in both forms of the game. With more than 27000 runs under his name (both ODI's n tests),he has been the God of Indian Cricket.He has scored d most number of centuries in both ODI's n tests.

Gavaskar n Kapil found a master class in him even when he was a youngster.His 600 odd run partnership with Vinod Kambli as a school boy fetched him the place in the Indian side.
